Merry Christmas Eve everyone. I am sure everyone is excited for the holiday and is getting some last minute preparations out of the way. Remember to also make your self available for this year's goal summit.
I am very excited about this year's event. This year we will be throwing the event at the Good Karma Cafe in Exeter, NH! We are encouraging everyone to bring some food to share, however, Brett, the master chef at Good Karma will keep his smoothie bar open. Coffee and tea will be also available for purchase and Brett is sure to whip up a couple surprises for us. You will also be able to order off of Good Karma's menu before the cafe closes to the general public at 8pm.
The cafe is ours after that. We will be utilizing their upstairs lounge for most of the event. This year the format will be slightly different. Rather than making individual goal presentations, there will be poster board, chart paper and markers available so that you may share your goals with the group however you choose. We will be encouraging everyone to speak about their goals in a cocktail style party fashion. Feel free to be creative as you like, bring your own materials, make a video or a slideshow, use sock puppets....just let everyone know what you hope to accomplish in the coming year. We can then help support one another in accomplishing them.
This event is also being "hosted" by this Sisu Project....not solely for Sisu Project members. Feel free to invite friends and family members...people who may run for other clubs are also welcome. We want this to be an all inclusive event. The cafe is even encouraging some of its patrons to go as well.
This is my favorite event of the year and I can't even begin to tell you how fortunate we are to still be doing this for past 8 years. I hope to see many of you there. For now, have a wonderful Christmas and I will see you New Year's Eve!
