The mens side brought their new secret weapon Dave "Passion" Zanca who inspired team members to come out and run their best no matter what their current level of fitness may be. Matthew Germain led the way in 26:57 while Mike Griffin followed behind in a time of 28:43 after a long hiatus from the racing scene. Bob Parks, Ian Wright, and Anthony DiPaolo rounded out the top five running 29:16, 30:13, and 33:14 respectively. John Kleschinsky (41:54) and Dave Zanca (43:11) were also there giving it their all in the hot sun.
In the inner team rivalry between former Springfield College runners Mike Griffin and Amanda Wright, Griffin prevailed in the age-sex graded competition narrowingly edging out Amanda by a mere tenth! with 74.33% to 74.23%! Who knows what will come next between these two! Stay tuned for the next Grand Prix race up in Vermont!
